What I do..

Dressage
My aim in teaching dressage is to promote healthy gymnastic development of the horse to prolong their active life. I like to see a partnership in harmony, showing relaxation and enjoyment when working. My training is sympathetic and personalised to each horse and rider combination. We work hard but we also have fun.
Music
I believe music adds a new dimension to riding. The right music has an impact on both horse and rider, helping them rise to new levels of enjoyment and achievement . I love helping riders put together their floorpan and choose their music and making it all come together for an impressive performance. Music is also a key component of formation riding and enhances the experience of riding as a team.

Groundwork
For a lot of people “groundwork” means either leading their horse over poles or lunging. There are other fascinating and effective techniques like long or short reining, which I love to use to help improve the horse’s athleticism and which can also be really useful for re-hab or during saddle issues. It is amazing to see how the horse can move without a rider on its back.
